  Snickerdoodle Cream Cheese Apple Pie



This indulgent pie features a snickerdoodle cookie crust, a rich cream cheese filling, and a layer of chopped apple pie filling topped with a snickerdoodle crumb. It’s the perfect fall dessert!


Ingredients:

For the Crust:

1 (1 lb 1.5 oz) pouch Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix 🍪

½ cup butter, softened 🧈

For the Cream Cheese Filling:

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened 🧀

¼ cup sugar 🍬

1 tbsp flour 🌾

1 tsp vanilla extract 🌿

1 egg 🥚

For the Apple Layer:

1¼ cups apple pie filling, chopped 🍏

½ tsp cinnamon 🌿

For the Topping:

1 tbsp butter, melted 🧈

Remaining snickerdoodle cookie crumbs from crust 🍪

Directions:

1️⃣ Preheat Oven & Prepare Pie Plate:


Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a 9-inch glass pie plate.

2️⃣ Make the Crust:


In a large bowl, mix the snickerdoodle cookie mix with butter until it forms crumbs.

Press 2 cups of the crumbs into the bottom and up the sides of the pie plate.

Bake for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

3️⃣ Make the Topping:


Mix the remaining snickerdoodle crumbs with 1 tablespoon melted butter. Toss to combine.

4️⃣ Make the Cream Cheese Filling:


Beat the cream cheese until smooth.

Add sugar, flour, vanilla, and egg. Beat until smooth.

5️⃣ Prepare the Apple Layer:


In a small bowl, mix the apple pie filling with ½ teaspoon cinnamon. Stir to combine.

6️⃣ Assemble the Pie:


Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie crust.

Spoon the chopped apple pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer, making sure to use mostly apples and less of the thickened filling.

Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.

7️⃣ Bake & Cool:


Bake for 35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.

Let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
