🍽️ This deliciously creamy Chocolate Orange Cheesecake combines a rich Oreo crust with a vibrant orange-flavored cheesecake filling, all topped off with a smooth dark chocolate ganache. Perfect for any celebration!


Ingredients:

Oreo Crust:

200g Oreo cookies 🍪 (about 20 cookies)

75g unsalted butter, melted 🧈

Orange Cheesecake Filling:


500g cream cheese, softened 🧀

80g sour cream 🍶

120g caster sugar 🍬

1 tbsp orange zest 🍊

80ml orange juice 🍊

1.5 tsp vanilla extract 🌸

3 large eggs 🥚

Chocolate Ganache:

120g dark chocolate, finely chopped 🍫

150ml heavy cream 🥛

15g honey (optional) 🍯

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Crust: Line the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper. Blend Oreo cookies into fine crumbs, mix with melted butter, and press firmly into the pan. Freeze the crust. ❄️


2️⃣ Orange Cheesecake Filling: Preheat oven to 140°C (285°F). In a large bowl, blend the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add sugar, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla. Stir in eggs one by one until combined, avoiding overmixing. 🍊


3️⃣ Assemble and Bake: Pour cheesecake filling over the chilled crust, tapping to release air bubbles. Bake on the oven's lowest rack for 60-70 minutes. Turn off oven, crack open door, and let cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour, then cool at room temp for another hour. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight. 🍰


4️⃣ Chocolate Ganache: Heat cream with honey until it just simmers. Pour over chopped chocolate and let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Pour warm ganache over the chilled cheesecake, spreading to the edges. Let the ganache set in the fridge. 🍫
